Pre-authorization Setup
Summary
Pre-authorization is a temporary hold placed on a portion of a shopper's credit card limit during their visit to a Just Walkout store, verifying both card validity and available credit. Merchants have the flexibility to configure and adjust this pre-authorization amount according to their specific store requirements and risk management strategies. This customizable feature provides merchants with an effective tool to maintain their desired risk posture while ensuring secure transactions
Permission setup
Access to the pre-authorization setup is governed by the user permission in the merchant portal. The pre-authorization configuration is automatically enabled for the stores that support delegated payment processing. TThe logged in user also needs to have 2 permissions.

Step by step process
Step 1: Navigate to the store setup tab within the merchant portal
Step 2: Select the store from the drop down list Step 3: The Authorized Amount will be in the list of available configurations
Step 4: Select the currency
Note: Currency selection will impact gate open decision
Step 5: Provide the Authorized Amount
Step 6: Select save
